I've been running private and small group teaching sessions using the online video platform Zoom, with great results!

About me
Having worked for over 30 years in both the fashion industry and higher education, I have a wealth of technical and creative knowledge to offer professionals and budding crafters alike.
I am a highly experienced, creative pattern cutter and garment technologist, most used to working alongside designers to accurately interpret their original design sketches into accurate working patterns and toiles. an extensive knowledge of cutting techniques using flat or 3D methods, and a comprehensive knowledge of garment construction.

I have worked as Creative Pattern Cutter for designers including McQueen, Ralph & Russo, Roland Mouret, M&S Twiggy and Collection ranges, and Long Tall Sally. Interpreting original designers sketches into accurate working patterns and toiles.
Education:
Lecturer at London College of Fashion - Cut and Construction.
University of Southampton & Winchester School of Art as Cut and Construction Lecturer for MA Fashion degree, working with MA students to develop their designs through patterns, draping and toiles to the finished garment. Bournemouth University BA Fashion Cut and Construction Lecturer.
